Macroscopic: Low-grade metamorphic (zeolite facies) black siltstone with idiomorphic pyrite porphyroblasts. Microscopic: Very fine grained quartz and muscovite with large pyrite phenocrysts. Thin section picture in XPL unless noted in the picture title. Thin sections are 3mm across.
